Budapest Architecture Film Festival | Screening of When We Live Alone and Where We Grow Older

CCA elsewhere, Toldi Cinema, Budapest, 8 March, 6.30pm (Budapest time)

Examining how changing societies, new economic pressures, and increasing population density are affecting the homes of various communities, the documentaries  What It Takes to Make a Home (CCA, 2019, 29 min), When We Live Alone (CCA, 2020, 27 min), and Where We Grow Older (CCA, 2023, 30 min) form a three-part short film series conceived by Giovanna Borasi, directed by Daniel Schwartz, and produced by the CCA.

The first film addresses homelessness, while the second film examines the ways in which people live alone. The third film looks at how the needs of a growing aging population are reshaping architectural and social constructs and questions the role of urban design and politics in facing these challenges.

When We Live Alone and Where We Grow Older will be screened on 8 March at the Toldi Cinema (Budapest) as part of the Budapest Architecture Film Festival. A virtual Q&A session with Giovanna Borasi will follow.
