Don't know that you / need it but it was already on / this map." [a line connects this last phrase with a paragraph describing sewer passage through lots 39, 40 and 22; inscription is upside down] inscribed, signed, and numbered - by the draughtsman, on the original, t.: with title and "COMPILED FROM MAP BY R.R. ARNOLD, / COUNTY SURVEYOR, AND OTHER DATA / [signature] / CITY ENGINEER / REGISTERED CIVIL ENGINEER No. 1113, STATE OF CALIF. / N[orth]"; along the edge of the map: with letters A to N and numbers 1 to 13; and throughout: with zoning information, political divisions, and street names inscribed - on the original, in typescript, u.r.: with list of street names keyed to map grid stamped and numbered - l.r.: "#199" [cancelled with red pencil] numbered - by an unknown hand, in red pencil, l.r.: "244" [job number; beside cancelled stamp]
