"The first part of this paper gives findings from a study of living accommodation for young people. It identifies features regarded as important by management and residents, suggests how user response to accommodation may be predicted, and examines the responses of the residents at eight schemes studied in detail. The paper also considers provision for the necessities of daily living associated with study bedrooms, and then more general communal facilities with reference to those now required by young people living away from home. The second part gives the results of a survey of residents' experience of storage fitments and furniture in study bedrooms."--Page 1
