The project series documents the competition entry for the urban plan of the Igara park. The competition was held by the San Sebastián City Council and Igara-Gestión. Abalos & Herreros identified this project as number 148. Abalos & Herreros proposed: « [a] query for the urbanity development of the new west city growing of San Sebastián, [consisting] of infrastructure, social housing and a big park. The assorted and violent topography, the ecological wealth of the support and the presence of the town access infrastructures make this enclave an unique opportunity for trying out completely new analysis and project methods, occupations and densities, including the appearance of nature in the urban life.” (ARCH270975) Abalos & Herreros worked with José Manuel Abalos, Jaime Abalos, Zomad Arquitectos, Arup Group Documenting the project are presentation drawings, project descriptions, publications, presentation documents, cartographic, photographic and reference materials, correspondence, resumes and specifications.

Under a green roof a winter beach, thermal installations and the groundfloor [sic] of a hotel are combined. Five towers rise through this roof with different uses: hotel, social housing, and the ‘Gallery of Wonders’ […]. A passageway curls up around them, connecting the towers by an impactant [sic] skywalk […]” (ARCH270975). Abalos & Herreros finished second. The firm identified this project as number 191. "Leon's Fair tries to give protagonism to old factories witch characterize the site making them up as principal access point and general services for the building, as well as creating a simple constructive space, similar to a tent. [...] Also the Congress Centre fill fair's core, the communication and leisure place with its small group of people's geometry. The project tries to compose these three pieces in a unique coherent group in its differences and resemblances, able to create a place with a clear sense: Leon’s Fair." Description:
This project series documents the Pavilions Condominiums, later referred to as the H2O Condominiums, in Toronto from 1995-1999. The office identified the project number as 9505. This project consisted of the design of four large condo buildings located on the shoreline of Lake Ontario at 500 Queens Quay West. The first two buildings, with an exterior of concrete, red brick and glass, were completed and occupied in the spring of 1999. The two eleven-storey towers were connected in a U-shape by a smaller building, creating a courtyard at their centre. Two more towers were scheduled for completion in 2001, but they were never built. The project is recorded through drawings dating from 1995-1997. The drawings are mostly originals and include sketches, presentation drawings, plans, elevations, sections, perspectives and details. There are also some reprographic copies of watercolour paintings in the materials.

This project consisted of restoration to the exterior of the train station commissioned by VIA Rail Canada Inc. This work was referred to as a clean up in the project documentation. Restauration work was done to the existing exterior stonework, colannades, screens and skylights. This project was referred to as Package A in the materials, with Package B representing a project for interior work (see project series AP018.S1.1984.PR01 in this fonds). This project is recorded through drawings, photographs and textual records dating from 1984-1985. The drawings are of earlier plans for the station, prepared by architects Ross & Macdonald and some by Public Works Canada.
