Synopsis:
The Shoei Yoh fonds (1976-2014, predominant 1990-1996) documents a selection of works by the Japanese architect and designer Shoei Yoh and the firm Shoei Yoh + Architects. The selection is comprised of two projects that were featured in the CCA exhibition Archaeology of the Digital (May 7-October 27, 2013)—the Galaxy Toyama Gymnasium and the unbuilt Odawara Municipal Sports Complex --and five other projects.The fonds also includes some published material by and about Shoei Yoh.

La série de projet documente le projet de Jean Ouellet avec la firme Ouellet Architectes associés pour le Complexe Desjardins à Montréal, Québec, pour Place Desjardins Inc. et en collaboration avec La Société La Haye. Le projet débute en 1962-1971 avec un projet d'exploration et une étude de faisabilité, suivi d'une phase de développement et de réalisation entre 1971-1976. Les travaux de construction débutent en mai 1972 jusqu'à l'inauguration en avril 1976. La série de projet est constituée de documents graphiques, photographiques et textuels, ainsi que de dessins relatifs au Complexe Desjardins. This subseries documents the work of architect Maria Prus, Victor Prus's spouse. Born Maria Fisz, she studies at Warsaw University.
