Part one considers modes, experimental projects, and permanent structures actually built. These include two- and three-way true space grids, two- and three-way lattice space grids, and special projects. Part two is concerned with stressed-skin space grids, including tetrahedral, pentahedral, and hexagonal pyramids, elongated tetrahedral, and space trusses. Part three consists of a pictorial catalogue of space grid geometries, two-way and three-way, true and lattice. The networks are shown both isometrically and from the top. In addition, the top layer, the bottom layer, and the interconnecting vertical and diagonal webbing are diagrammed.
