The John Bird fonds documents the professional practice of the Westmount-based architect, and includes drawings and photographs of 24 architectural projects carried out in and around Montréal, Québec between 1954 and 1992. The fonds also contains a number of published articles that document John Bird's professional activities. Key projects that are represented include the Canadian Technical Tape Building, St. Laurent (1955-1963), Saint Gabriel's Church, Montréal (1959-1960), and Saint John Brebeuf Church, Lasalle (1962-1966). The fonds also includes numerous projects for Toronto-Dominion Bank buildings (1959-1992) as well as residential designs completed for the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation (1956-1969).

The Projects series, 1911-1973, consists of Oud's work on 67 projects, mainly within The Netherlands, as well as within Germany, Czechoslovakia and the United States. The Projects Series includes Oud's early conceptual drawings, such as sketches, as well as design development drawings, such as elevations and plans. The series includes photographs of Oud’s realized buildings as well as photographs of Oud's designs. The Projects Series is particularly strong in Oud's work on social housing projects while he served as municipal architect for the Rotterdam Housing Authority from 1918-1933, including his works on standardization and mass produced housing estates for low income residents. The series is also strong in Oud's designs for major public buildings and post-World War Two reconstruction, such as the Hofplein design. The series includes Oud's designs for private residences, World War Two memorials and competitions. The series also includes photographs taken of Oud exhibit models and his interior designs. This project series documents Cornelia Hahn Oberlander's landscape design for Schuylkill Falls, a public housing development on Ridge Avenue, in the East Falls neighbourhood of Philadelphia. Oberlander worked on this project from 1952-1955, after she was recruited by architect Oskar Stonorov. Oberlander worked on the landscaping with Dan Kiley. The project was initally divided in six phases and was planned to spread across five city blocks. One of the phases included the construction of two sixteen-storey housing towers, but only one was built. The building was demolished in 1996. The project series contains five landscape plans for all five city blocks project and a set of landscape specifications, the first written by Oberlander.
