Manufactured in Germany, this toy was intended for a Spanish-language market as well as a German one. The label on the box, printed in Spanish, is mounted over another which is almost certainly the German original. The set contains close to three hundred edge pieces of thin wood, grooved to accommodate the elaborately-lithographed tinplate wall and roof panels which number about 150. In addition, there are two painted plaster domes. The set enables the young builder to erect traditional, rural half-timbered buildings.
