Architect Juan Günther coordinated this editorial project that reviews the architecture, art and history of the Legislative Palace of Peru. The neoclassic building was designed in the early 20th century (1920) by French architect Émile Robert in the place previously occupied by the colonial church of La Caridad, when modernistic European styles were preferred over the historic colonial patrimony. This fine edition recalls a series of important events and curious anecdotes with illustrious personages divided in 3 sections (Architecture, Art and History) that correspond likewise to the patrimonial and symbolic importance of the building that houses the Peruvian Parliament, active since 1822. Includes texts by Juan Günther, José García Bryce (Architecture), Luis Eduardo Wuffarden (Art) and José Francisco Gálvez, José Ragas and Fernando Ayllón (History) beautifully illustrated with color photographs by Daniel Giannoni.
