Angelo Bucci examines the urban environment from diverse perspectives as well as by a method of successive approaches elaborating a transitory outline of an object in constant transformation: the activity of the architect, affected by the present urban conditions, particularly concerning the imagination of the spaces in the elaboration of architecture projects. Bucci adopts the hypothesis that the city contains all the "elements" needed for the elaboration of any architectural project and tries to recognize how the city in general, -using the city of Sao Paulo as case- represents a way of thinking and a way to operate in architecture and finally concluding that the experience of living in the city represents a part of the imagination process in the design of the architectonic space.
