In 1980, Fritz Auer and Carlo Weber founded the practice Auer + Weber. It has since defined itself through multifarious projects, characterised by open undogmatic architecture. With "Auer+Weber+Assoziierte", the transition to a next generation of architects is now complete. Five partners and five associates in Stuttgart and Munich apply themselves to a whole spectrum of global construction projects from monument protection toinfrastructure, residential and office complexes. Attention to the idiosyncrasies of places is always a priority-in continuation of the practice's own tradition. Appropriateness and sustainability remain top concerns. Falk Jaeger provides an insight into the mindscape of this multifaceted practice, primarily renowned for its high standards of quality.
