The Lionel March fonds, circa 1957-2017, documents the work and activities of architect and professor Lionel March. The records within this fonds illustrate March’s architectural career, representing five professional and personal building projects, including the 1964 Whitehall plan; as well as his academic career in research and teaching, spanning England and North America, most notably March’s work with the Centre for Land Use and Built Form Studies (now the Martin Centre) and his research at UCLA. The fonds is largely composed of books from March’s library, textual records, slides and photographs, and drawings.

It comprises material related to her consulting services on her own various landscape projects and urban planning projects, and also her consulting services for projects submitted as member of a larger project team for private or public projects. Her office records also contains documents related the planning of her work, her patents applications and designs for her own landscape or playground furnitures, and her professional correspondence. The sub-series also documents Oberlander press and promotional activities, such as interviews she gave, articles written about her, about her work as landscape architect, her statements or her activism for social and environmental causes or preservation landmark buildings and spaces. The sub-series contains documents related to Oberlander's consulting services, including requests for services, proposals by her or by the project team, correspondence, or documentation collected for projects calls of interest to Oberlander. Oberlander's office records for planning of projects and other activities includes professional correspondence files, agendas and planners, message books and notebooks, patents applications and plans for her designs, and office references, such landscape architecture regulations and guidelines, and landscape specifications templates. D'abord, les 26 photographies que Blaise Marchand a colligées alors qu'il était architecte en chef pour l'entretien au ministère des Travaux publics du Québec (1945-1968), illustrent principalement les différentes décorations temporaires installées sur les façades de l'Hôtel du Parlement à Québec, et dans les environs, à l'occasion d'événements spéciaux entre 1949 et 1960 [1963]. Pour la grande majorité, les photographies ont été réalisées par le Service de ciné-photographie de l'Office provincial de publicité du Québec, mais aussi par le ministère des Travaux publics - Service des architectes, ainsi que par le photographe Michel, photographie artistique et commerciale (Québec) et par le studio Photo Montcalm (Québec). Ensuite, les trois publications et le manuscrit ([1956]-1963) conservés dans la série documentent l'intérêt que Marchand portait à l'urbanisme et à la conservation et la restauration du patrimoine bâti. Les titres entre guillemets ont été tirés des légendes qui accompagnaient les photographies lorsque les documents sont arrivés aux archives.
