This subseries documents Frampton’s academic career as an Associate professor at the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Princeton University (1967-1972) and as Associate professor and subsequently as Ware professor of Architecture at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), Columbia University (1972-1977; 1974- present). While at GSAPP, Frampton simultaneously held appointments as Visiting professor at several institutions. These activities are also documented here including documents related to his appointment as Visiting professor at the Berlage Institute, Amsterdam (1990-1997), the Università della Svizzera Italiana, Mendrisio (1998-2003), and École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switerland (1995). This subseries is made up of textual documentation consisting of course readers, application booklets, university handbooks, correspondence, student works, course syllabi, drafts of slides for lectures, draft lectures and notes, drafts for graduation speeches, take home exams, transcripts of lectures, event posters, and various photographs of student projects/models.
