Jagpal Palace Cinema Complex, Raikot, India (circa 1980s-1990s)
circa 1980s-1990s
Project
This project series documents a cinema complex in the Jagpal Palace shopping mall in Raikot, India, likely sometime in the 1980s-1990s. The project consisted of a proposed 670 capacity theater with an entrance foyer under the balcony seating and bicycle and scooter parking underneath the stage. The theater had a slanted roof that sloped down toward the stage and grand archways along its front elevation. It is not identified whether this project was ever built.
The project is recorded through original drawings of floor plans, elevations and sections, probably dating from sometime in the 1980s-1990s.
Materials in this project series were kept in their original order.
