Scope and Content

Sub-series documents the administrative operations and activities of the successive firms of Stirling and Gowan; James Stirling; James Stirling and Partner; James Stirling, Michael Wilford, and Associates; and Michael Wilford and Partners. Sub-series includes records for the London, England and Stuttgart, Germany offices. Material in this sub-series was produced between 1956 and probably 2000.

Sub-series contains textual records, including constitutive records relating to the firm of James Stirling and Partner, an unsigned deed of dissolution of the partnership of Stirling and Gowan, material management records including a drawing register, some staff records, appointment books, and financial records.
