Material in this project series was likely kept in its original order when it was first processed upon its arrival at CCA. The reprographic copy of the drawing for a staircase bay was originally stored in a portfolio in James Stirling's office in London, together with student work, the community centre and town centre plan, Newton Aycliffe, thesis project, other early projects and drawings (the Merseyside film institute and office building, Honan scholarship project, the Poole College of Further Education competition entry, the village housing for the CIAM X Congress project) and other miscellaneous material dated between 1948 and 1955.
