This series documents several activities of the office of Ábalos&Herreros, as well as the teaching and research activities of the firm. The series is arranged in five subseries and is organized according to document type.
The promotional activities of the firm are documented is subseries AP164.S3.D1 and consist of portfolios with promotional materials related to several projects. The office also kept materials related to competitions. Subseries AP164.S3.D3 contains materials related to various competitions such as correpondence as well as bidding annoucements that the firm accumulated over the years. Also included is a subseries that consists of press reviews of several of the firms projects and a subseries of general office correspondence.
The photographic materials in subseries AP164.S3.D2 document the teaching and research activities of the architects. The photographic materials consist mainly of slides used by Iñaki Ábalos and Juan Herreros for their course lectures and conferences, as well as publications. Photographic materials in this subseries were also used as reference materials for their own projects and include images of the firm's work but also images of work done by other architects.
The materials were kept in the original order they were received. Documents were arranged by donors prior to their arrival at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA).
The subseries is arranged into five subseries: AP164.S3.D1; AP164.S3.D2; AP164.S3.D3; AP164.S3.D4; and AP164.S3.D5
